I heard that they actually sell good makeup, is that true?

They may have make-up with brand names such as Mac or Revlon, but it doesn't necessarily mean that it's the real stuff, you know? I mean, it could be, but it's highly unlikely. It could have been ripped off or the companies may have discarded those products, so the dollar store took care of them.





I personally wouldn't use ANY face make-up that the dollar store may sell, maybe some nail polish, but I wouldn't use anything else to be on the safe side.
No, do not buy makeup from the dollar store. It's no good at all. It broke my older sister skin out with bad bumps (I don't wear makeup), she had to go to a dermatologist to get some stuff for her face. But some people skin react differently. It's up to you. But I advise you not to.
i dunno about ontario and i dunno about good makeup, but look and see, every store is different, so look for a couple stores around there... just go to the dollar tree website or the 99 cents store website and see locations near you.
They do. Dollar stores sell items from buy outs. Where the company changed the packaging and then gets rid of the inventory. It is absurd to think that the make up in drugstores is better because it is in the newer packaging. Plus you can use coupons in dollar stores. So if you have a coupon for any Maybelline product, then you could take it to the dollar store and get something like mascara for almost free.





Most make up isn't on expiration time until it is opened. It's not bread or milk. So if you need cosmetics on a budget or just want to save your money for that killer handbag, then don't pay for a brand's package. I don't know about you but I have better things to spend my money on than a company's cardboard.





Plus, they would get sued if they sold products from a brand and it was fake. That is so ridiculous!





And in blind tests, over 90% of women could not tell the difference from low end and high end make up. What does that tell you? A fool and her money are soon parted! lol





I have probably 30 mascaras, no lie. Some have cost $50 and some have cost $8. I just recently bought Maybelline's Stiletto mascara and it is the best I have ever used! Fantastic! That shows how much cost has to do with makeup quality or results.
